Born in Malta 1948.
Grew up in his father’s atelier (Hugo Carbonaro).

1968 – father & son exhibition at National Museum of Fine Arts , Valletta.
1970 – Bienal Internacional de Ibiza, Spain.
1974 – Accepted at Accademia delle Belle Arti, Firenze.
1975 - Awarded four year scholarship by Italian Government.
1976 - Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta.
1978 - Biennale d’Arte Contemporanea Botticell, Firenze.
1979 - Centro di Cultura Mediterranea, Palermo.
1980 - Galleria Fenici, Valletta.
1981 - Produced first series of Acquatints at Santa Reparata Graphic Arts Centre, Firenze.
1982 - International self-portrait exhibition, in Museo Uffizi, Firenze, to commemorate its Fourth centenary.
1988 - Grands et Jeunes d’aujourd’hui, Grand Palais, Paris.
1989 - Maltese Art – Galleria Spagnoli, Firenze.
1990 - Landesbank, Mannheim.
